These world renowned spring creeks, located in Paradise Valley are just minutes away from Yellowstone Valley Ranch. We currently have more prime time spring creek rods available to us than any other outfitter. Hone your skills casting 6X tippets and small flies at large, finicky trout. Experience the great Pale Morning Dun hatch starting in June, moving into terrestrials and sulfurs later in the summer, and follow it up with fall baetis hatches in September and October. The Spring Creeks offer everything from sight nymphing to dry fly fishing for the discriminating angler. Armstrong Spring Creek is nearly a mile long and with the recent stream improvements it's fishing like it did 10 years ago. With great riffles and long flats this creek offers everything for the spring creek angler. DePuy Spring Creek with it's 3 miles of water is world famous for it's consistant hatches of PMDs, BWOs, and Midges. Anglers can fish from dawn with spinners until mid-day with duns and emergers. Nelson Spring Creek is a small creek with loads of fish from 13 to 20+ inches. While reservations are limited due to its small size, we heartily enjoy this lesser known gem of a creek. Milesnick Spring Creek allows access to two spring creeks (Benhart & Thompson) and the East Gallatin River. The spring creeks require a bit more skill than many streams, but offer great rewards to the patient angler. With the East Gallatin close at hand you can always jump over and tangle with some usually more cooperative fish, if the spring creek trout prove to be unwilling. |
